The network connection dialog box will be displayed.

Select the SimplyExpats.Net service, and press Connect.

The service login dialog box will be displayed.

Press Properties, and your computer will display the VPN Properties screen. Select the Security Tab.

Change the VPN Type to Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol with IPSec.

Set the Data Encryption to Require Encryption.

Click on the Allow these protocols button.

Tick the Unencrypted password (PAP) option. (your password will be encrypted using the IPSec Tunnel).

Press the Advanced Settings button.

The Pre Shared Key screen is displayed as above.

Press the Use Pre Shared Key option, and under the Key, enter: SimplyExpats.net (Note: This is case sensitive).

Press OK, to update the option, and OK to return to the Connection Window and to complete the configuration.

You should now be able to connect to the SimplyExpats.net L2TP service.
